Our Story

Khamisani family businesses came into being more than six decades ago in the mid 1940’s. After the Second World War in 1945, the business activities started in the field of insurance, both general and life with prestigious world-renowned companies. The decade of the fifties began with the establishment of the travel office. The area of business was expanded to provide services as Travel Agents, Estate Consultants and Managers. Later the group diversified in many different areas namely: Airline Consolidation/ General Sales Agency, Cargo, Shipping, Air Chartering, Ship Chartering, Computer Hardware, Petrochemical, Power Generation, Import and Export.
Khamisani’s core business revolved around travel and travel related services. The travel department continued to provide services to large corporations as well as to individuals and groups. With the representation and affiliation with leading travel organizations, Khamisani’s continue to provide quality services in the area of air travel, travel insurance, cruises, hotels, tour packages, pilgrim packages and related services.
 

Founder

The founder of Khamisani family businesses, late Alhaj Mohammed Ayoob Khamisani was a visionary in outlook and humanitarian in action. His patience and perseverance was exemplary. Earning profits certainly is an objective of any and all business venture but Alhaj Khamisani would not accept it to be the sole purpose and under no circumstances would allow it to overweigh the principles of social justice. Surely, this idealism of “Service to Humanity is Service to Allah (God)” is the sole reason for growth and development of Khamisani family businesses to be steady over the years from its start in the mid-forties. Alhaj Khamisani was extremely active in trade organizations and played an active role in social and community work. The Khamisani’s new generation has kept this tradition alive and have been taking active part in Local and International Organizations and carried out social and community work at all levels for “PEACE AND PROGRESS AROUND THE WORLD”.
